Bastian Schweinsteiger has urged Bayern Munich to give their all in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
The midfielder believes that it will be a difficult game for Bayern, but he is confident that they can get a positive result at the Allianz Arena with the right attitude.
"It's all or nothing on Tuesday. We have to go to the limits and beyond, but we can do it with our fans behind us," Schweinsteiger told the official Bayern website.
"It won't be easy, and it comes down to mental strength. I hope we show the mentality which marks Bayern out."
Schweinsteiger then looked back at his side's scoreless Bundesliga draw against Mainz on Saturday, and feels that Bayern should have done better.
"Mainz did well. We were good in defence and basically shut them out. We didn't have many chances ourselves, but they were good ones. We should have taken at least one of them."
Bayern trail leaders Borussia Dortmund by eight points in the Bundesliga after Saturday's results with only three games remaining.
