Tshabalala calls for Chiefs consistency

Siphiwe Tshabalala says inconsistency could cost the Kaizer Chiefs' in both the Premier Soccer League and Nedbank Cup this season.
The Chiefs have been blowing hot and cold this season and Tshabalala told KickOff.com it was a concern as they look to win some silverware this season.
"It’s a worrying factor that we are not consistent and we have been doing so well in the league," he said.
"I believe that for a team to win the League they have to be consistent; if we really want to win League honours we have to be consistent throughout."
The South Africa international also said it would be a major embarrassment for Chiefs to end the season without a trophy.
"We still have a chance. There is the Nedbank Cup to play for and the league as well. We are left with six games so let’s see how it goes," he said.
"It will be a major blow (if we fail to win silverware), but it’s not something we are thinking about. The focus now is on advancing to the next round of the Nedbank Cup."
"This is the standard we set at Chiefs; that’s the culture that every season we win trophies.
"At the moment there is nothing, but we are very hopeful and optimistic that something will come up; hopefully one or may be two."
The Chiefs host Free State Stars in the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
