Wenger unsure over Wilshere return

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he is unsure whether Jack Wilshere will play again this season.

Wilshere has not featured for the Gunners this term due to a persistent ankle problem.

The England midfielder has been out since picking up the injury in pre-season and is a big doubt to play at Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.

"We'll know in the next two or three weeks if Wilshere will play this season," Wenger told London24.

“We try to keep the hope alive for him, the next three weeks will show whether [Wilshere] will go to the Euros."
